The Americas has been one of the principal journals of Latin American
history since its founding in 1944. It publishes articles and reviews in history
and ethnohistory about all geographical regions of the Americas and their Iberian
background.
Published by the Academy of American Franciscan History, the journal prides itself on presenting a range of topics and points of view, and providing a bridge between scholars of all the Americas.

Moving walls are generally represented in years.
In calculating the moving wall, the current year is not counted.
