Founded in Florence in 1968 by Ferruccio and Alessandra Marchi, the publishing house of Centro Di specializes in the publication of books on art history, architecture, and decorative arts, among which are exhibition catalogues, monographs, conference proceedings, museum catalogues, and specialized magazines. Following the passing of Ferruccio Marchi in 1981, his wife Alessandra Marchi Pandolfini, alongside her daughter Ginevra, succeeded him in the management of the publishing house.
