The Department of History at Central Michigan University is pleased to serve as the home for the Michigan Historical Review, the only scholarly publication devoted to the history of Michigan. The MHR is published twice yearly. In press for nearly fifty years, it features work from historians of international stature and has attracted a substantial readership that includes both academic and popular audiences.
