The Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas, UNAM, is both a philosophical research centre and one of the most important publishers of philosophical books in Spanish. Since 1940, it has been publishing original books, anthologies and translations into Spanish, as well as two philosophy journals: Crítica, Revista Hispanoamericana de filosofía since 1967, and Diánoia since 1955. The former is its only publication both in English and in Spanish.
