Jewish Historical Society of England Publisher Description
The Jewish Historical Society of England was founded in 1893. It is the oldest historical and learned society of its kind in Europe. The society, based in London, has active branches throughout England. It holds regular meetings in London and elsewhere with lectures on a wide range of subjects relating to British Jewish history. The aim of the society is to make the results of historical scholarship interesting to both a general and specialist audience.
