The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) at the University of Miami promotes and sustains research and teaching on Latin America and the Caribbean. It is a forum for the university community with shared regional interests. The CLAS hosts lectures, workshops, and conferences and works with other universities and consular offices to build excellence in teaching, research, and community outreach.
