The Ashland University Dwight Schar college of education, which offers Pre-K through doctorate level courses, is one of the largest among independent and state institutions in Ohio. The undergraduate teacher education program is the largest academic program on the Ashland campus and has been NCATE accredited since 1973. Ashland offers more than 30 program areas across the undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, master’s and doctorate levels and employ more than 65 full-time faculty. All of Ashland’s education programs – undergraduate, master of education, doctor of education and professional development services – are recognized on a state and national basis.
