The Mission of the Catholic University of the North is, from the beginning of Christian Humanism, to contribute to the development of the person, society and its cultural heritage, in the North of Chile, creating and spreading knowledge through teaching, research and the connection with the environment.

La Misión de la Universidad Católica del Norte es, desde los principios del Humanismo Cristiano contribuir al desarrollo de la persona, de la sociedad y de su herencia cultural, en el Norte de Chile, creando y difundiendo conocimiento a través de la docencia, la investigación y la vinculación con el medio.
