Confluencia is published by the Hispanic Studies department of the University of Northern Colorado. UNC commits to the success of its students by providing a solid liberal arts foundation, relevant professional coursework and real-world experiences in an environment where faculty and staff value personal attention as a few to learning. At UNC, there are over 100 undegraduate and 100-plus graduate programs of study spread among six colleges: Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Education and Behavioral Sciences, Natural and Health Sciences, Performing and Visual Arts and University College. There are approximately 12,000 students from all 50 states and 28 countries. The student population is 60 percent female, 40 percent male and 16 percent minorities.
