Abstract

Although clear-cell adenocarcinoma in female offspring has been associated with maternal exposure to diethylstilbestrol, the number of cases has been relatively small. Benign abnormalities in females are much more common, and the importance of these lesions awaits the results of long-term follow-up. Effects on the male also remain to be elucidated.
