The interesting series of foraminifera from this well in Sutton County, Texas, comes from the Upper Pennsylvanian and Lower Permian. There are many new forms and others recently described from surface outcrops. The more primitive arenaceous forms are apt to be distorted but the calcareous forms are more resistant.
