Nine species of Ostracoda, all of them apparently marine, are described from the Redwater shale member of the Sundance formation, Upper Jurassic (Oxfordian), at its type locality, Butte County, South Dakota. The following genera are represented in the collection: Paraparchites? Ulrich & Bassler, Eridoconcha Ulrich & Bassler, Apatocythere? Triebel, Progonocythere Sylvester-Bradley, Monoceratina Roth, Leptocythere Sars, Cytheridea? Bosquet and Cytherura? Sars.
