An extensive fauna of malacostracous crustaceans is described from the Bear Gulch Limestone, Tyler Formation, Mississippian of Montana. The Crustacea have taxonomic affinities to the Lower Carboniferous faunas of Great Britain and the Pennsylvanian Essex fauna of Illinois.
