Description: The prime aims of the European Journal of Education are:
To examine, compare and assess education policies, trends, reforms and
programmes of European countries in an international perspective
To disseminate policy debates and research results to a wide audience of
academics, researchers, practitioners and students of education sciences
To contribute to the policy debate at the national and European level by
providing European administrators and policy-makers in international organisations,
national and local governments with comparative and up-to-date material centred
on specific themes of common interest.
Each issue is organised around a particular theme, with emphasis on commissioned
papers requested by the individual editor responsible for the issue and a member
of the Journals Editorial Board.
The "moving wall" represents the time period between the last issue
available in JSTOR and the most recently published issue of a journal.
Moving walls are generally represented in years. In rare instances, a
publisher has elected to have a "zero" moving wall, so their current
issues are available in JSTOR shortly after publication.
Note: In calculating the moving wall, the current year is not counted.
For example, if the current year is 2008 and a journal has a 5 year
moving wall, articles from the year 2002 are available.
