Abstract

An alum-precipitated sodium-hydroxide-conjugated duck virus hepatitis modified-live-virus (PC-DVH-MLV) vaccine was tested in ducklings carrying high levels of parental antibodies against duck virus hepatitis. Two inoculations at 1 and 15 days of age induced active virus-neutralizing antibody development within a week of the second inoculation.
