Abstract

Two species of Leucothoidea, Colomastix bastidai n. sp. (Colomastigidae) and Leucothoe spinicarpus (Abildgaard, 1789) (Leucothoidae) are described and figured. The material was dredged by R. V. "Shinkai Maru" on the continental shelf of Argentina. The first species is mainly characterized by the shape of the second male gnathopod. The material of the second species differs in a few characters from Norwegian specimens as described by Sars (1895).
