Abstract

Previously, Splachnum pensylvanicum (Brid.) Grout ex Crum was known only from one European locality, viz. the type locality of Tetraplodon balticus Warnst. It is recorded from a new station in the vicinity of the former. In Europe, Splachnum pensylvanicum is confined to bogs, and associated with faecal pellets. /// Раньше Splachnum pensylvanicum (Brid.) Grout. ex Crum был известен лишь в одном европейском местообитании, а именно в местообитании голотипа Tetraplodon balticus Warnst. Теперь он имеется в новой стации, расположенной близ первой. В Европе S. pensylvanicum растёт лишь на грибах и сопутствует шарикам кала грызунов, смешанным волосами и костями.
