Two new species and a new variety of Cineraria L. from tropical Africa are described: C. pulchra Cron from the Nyanga and Chimanimani Mountains of Zimbabwe and Mozambique (Mount Gorongoza), C. huilensis Cron from the Serra da Chela in the Huila Province of Angola and C. mazoensis S. Moore var. graniticola Cron from the granite domes of Zimbabwe.
