Abstract

R. Sh. Ashkenazi has noticed that the general benedictions appended to the Birkhot ha-Evarim (Tarbiẓ, LVI, pp. 271—272) are drawn from Saadia Gaon's Baqasha for the Morning Prayer (cf. Siddur R. Saadja Gaon, ed. I. Davidson, S. Assaf and B.I. Joel, Jerusalem 1941, pp. 58—60).
