There is a strong faith on Pedagogy the ultimate aim of which seems to be the school chid guidance. The educator will not only guide every school child within the class-room but also he will guide it to its own discovery and to its adjustment to social life. The author shows three points which are at present included within the field of guidance: professional guidance, individual guidance and school guidance. Each of them has a different aspect and all form a complete guiding unit. They are placed by the author in the present trend on guidance to transfer them to the school work. Einally he presents a new pedagogical profession: the guiding-counselor. He considers this guiding-counselor in his technical aspect as different from the purely teaching or guiding-teaching ones. It is possible clearly to note the difference existing among the three mentioned functions and the complexity of the activities belonging to the guiding-counselor who will have an outstanding place in the pedagogical field.
