The most abundant organisms in the fauna of the guano of the evening bat Nycticeius humeralis, roosting in a church belfry in Clay County, Indiana, were three species of tenebrionid beetles, Tenebrio molitor, Tribolium ferrugineum and Neatus tenebrioides; a histerid beetle, Carcinops quattuordecimstriata, and the larvae of a fly, Stomoxys calcitrans (Muscidae). Adult milichiid flies, Leptometopa latipes, larval anthomyiid flies, Fannia canicularis; a bethylid wasp, Cephalonomia waterstoni, and two beetles, Attagenus piceus (Dermestidae) and Oxypoda sagulata (Staphylinidae) were other important components of this community. A trophic diagram is given for this community.
