Abstract

/// The author chronologically develops the road followed by the European Union until arriving to the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty by the Member States. A journey that has dropped on the way, among many other things, the symbols of the European Union, a reduced composition of the Commission, the relinquishment of the term Constitution to refer to the Treaty, and where the weak political role that the institutions have played in this process has been evidenced.
