Abstract

This is an introductory report on the occurrence of petroglyphs and pictographs in Oklahoma. Heretofore known information has not been collected into a single report. No attempt is made at synthesis. Site occurrences reported by counties are as follows: Caddo (1): Cimarron (6); Comanche (3); Cotton (1); Creek (1); Garvin (1); Grady (1); Hughes (1); Leflore (1); McIntosh (1); Okfuskee (1); Pontotoc (1).
