Abstract

This detailed, factual review of television coverage of national party conventions raises many questions and points up many problems that will be much in evidence as party leaders and media officials plan for 1968. The author had an unusual opportunity through official contacts and first-hand observations to follow TV coverage of the 1964 conventions.
