Abstract

At the site Tequendama in the Savanna of Bogotá (11.00 - 5.00 B.P.), 21 burials, in lateral position with limbs flexed, were found. The burial goods correspond to lithic and bone artifacts. A similar pattern was repeated in Sueva (10.090 B.P.) and in Checua (8.500 - 3.00 B.P.). Incineration practices are recorded at Tequendama and Checua. At Aguazuque, in the Municipality of Soacha (5.030 -2225 B.P.), 51 burials, simple, double and secondary, were found, along with a collective burial laid out in a circle and made up of 21 individuals (women, men and children). To the southeast of the circle, two inferior right limbs were placed; these body parts were placed in a flexed position and correspond to different individuals. Next to these, a deposit of deer remains was found near some artifacts.
