Abstract

Galahad's literary debut in the Vulgate "Queste del Saint Graal" displays ley-lines extrapolated from Augustine's biography, theology, semiotic theory, and polemical controversies, suggesting that this retro-fitted prose fiction can be read productively as a specifically Augustinian confection.
