Abstract

Two new species and a new variety, Hansteinia jamesonii from Pichincha, Ecuador and H. magdalenensis and H. magdalenensis var. pilosa from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Maria, are described, illustrated, and compared with H. charitopes, their closest relative.
