Abstract

A new species, Trillium parviflorum, is described in Trillium subgen. Phyllantherum Raf. Trillium parviflorum is easily distinguished from T. albidum Freeman, which it superficially resembles, by its overall smaller size, much smaller linear-lanceolate petals, clove-like fragrance, and dark maroon fruit.
