Four stromatoporoid species: Pachystylostroma sp., Petridiostroma cf. simplex (Nestor, 1966), Gerronostroma juveneforme sp. nov. and Eostromatopora ringerikensis (Mori, 1978), are described from the Uggool Limestone Member of the Cloonnamna Formation (upper Llandovery) in the Charlestown Inlier, Co. Mayo, Ireland. A new genus Eostromatopora is established with the type species Stromatopora impexa Nestor, 1966. The fauna described here is closely related to the Telychian stromatoporoid faunas from the Vik Formation of the Oslo area and from the Baillarge Formation of north-western Baffin Island, Canada.
