Abstract

The monotypic genus Edrudia (Teloschistaceae) resembles Polycauliona Hue (Placodium sect. Thamnoma Tuck.) but is distinguished by the simple ascospores, filiform pycnidiospores and dorsiventrally compressed thallus branches.
