Caudalejeunea pluriplicata sp. nov. is described from Agumbe, Karnataka, India. It resembles C. lehmanniana (Gott.) Evans in most of its features except in its uniseriate first tooth of leaf lobule, highly dentate female bracteole, and pluriplicate perianth.
