Abstract

Stages in the life cycle of Pseudodiplodiscoides pilai are described. Cercariae emerge from Indoplanorbis exustus and encyst in the open. Metacercariae excyst in the esophagus of the apple snail, Pila globosa, and grow to maturity in the stomach.
