Abstract

En este trabajo el autor estudia el desarrollo de la agricultura en los países de América Latina, su evolución desde los años de la postguerra y sus problemas actuales. Señala la necesidad de un decisivo incremento en la productividad del sector agropecuario con el fin de contar con los recursos alimenticios suficientes para abastecer a una población en creciente aumento. Indica que es condición de todo desarrollo industrial la previa expansión del sector agropecuario para que dé recursos suficientes al número cada vez mayor de mano de obra comprometida en actividades industriales. A lo largo del trabajo el autor se refiere concretamente a algunos casos de ciertos países Latinoamericanos. /// The author of this work, studies the development of the agricultural sector in Latin American countries, its evolution since post-war years and its actual problems. He points out the need for a definite increase in the productivity of this sector, as a way of providing with enough food to a continually increasing population. He establishes as a condition for every industrial development the previous expansion of the agricultural sector to give enough resources to a increasing man power working in industrial activities. Along his work, the author refers specifically to some Latin - american Countries.
