Abstract

This paper summarizes part of research undertaken to investigate the concept of "Catholic Sociology." It reports specifically on The American Catholic Sociological Review as compared and contrasted with The American Sociological Review with regard to the subject areas most frequently occurring in the articles, whether they are basic or applied, and whether the articles are normative or non-normative.
