The nine autoecious species of Puccinia on Polemoniaceae in North America are described and illustrated. Two new varieties are described: P. fragilis var. divaricatae from eastern N. America and P. douglasii var. hoodii from western N. America. Puccinia fragilis and P. giliicola treated under P. plumbaria Peck by Arthur, are recognized as distinct species.
