Abstract

Three new species, Lactarius cocosiolens, L. manzanitae, and L. riparius, and the new variety, L. scrobiculatus var. montanus, are described from northern California. In addition, 14 species of Lactarius are reported for the first time from California, along with their habitats and distribution.
