Abstract

Re-evaluation of recently published figures comparing the tuberculin Tine $\text{Test}^{+}$ and the Mantoux showed that, contrary to original opinion, the Tine $\text{Test}^{+}$ did perform satisfactorily, the reason for the apparent ineffectiveness lying in the original interpretation of the results.
