Analysis of the relationships of six genera of caecilians (Amphibia: Gymnophiona) by microcomplement fixation techniques gave immunological distances of from 70 units to 210 units for Dermophis to other genera. The times of divergence indicated for these genera are consistent with those postulated on zoogeographic grounds.
