There is a seeming dichotomy of direct commecial transactions that Taiwan entrepreneurs prefer to trade with the Central European (CE) countries while investing in other areas. Comparative advantages are examined as regard to why Taiwan entrepreneurs are inclined to invest in ASEAN countries/PRC. A number of trade risk management strategies are introduced.
