Abstract

Les auteurs analysent 454 accidents de piétons survenus dans une commune de Bruxelles. L'étude est basée sur une analyse de Benzécri des correspondances entre caractéristiques des individus et caractéristiques de l'environnement. Cette analyse révèle trois types principaux de piétons accidentés et trois types principaux d'environnements d'accident. Il existe une correspondance entre ces types respectifs. Elle semble être la traduction d'expositions au risque différentes qui expriment en fait des spécificités dans les modes de vie. The authors analyse 454 pedestrian accidents that occured in a civil parish of Brussels. The study is based on a Benzecri analysis of the correspondence between individual characteristics and environment characteristics. The analysis reveals three principal types of pedestrian involved in an accident and three principal types of environment. There exists a correspondence between those types which express different kinds of exposure to risk in relation with differences in way of life.
