Abstract

Photoelectric observations of UW Ari and V600 Her are presented. It is shown that, contrary to what is reported in the literature, neither UW Ari nor V600 Her is a β Cephei variable. UW Ari is found to be constant in light. The light variation of V600 Her is either erratic or is due to photometric effects of binary motion in an eccentric orbit.
