Spectroscopic observations of six peculiar galaxies and six pairs of galaxies south of declination —43° were made by using a Carnegie image-tube system mounted on the Cassegrain spectrograph of the 1.5-m telescope at CTIO. The spectra are described and radial velocities are determined from them. Mass estimations are made for the double galaxies and for the nucleus of one individual galaxy.
