Abstract

Les récils de vie sont en reconstruction permanente. Aussi le chercheur peut-il s'attendre à recueillir les images d'un passé quelque peu mythifié. Plutôt que de les rejeter sous le couvert de l'objectivité, il est possible de les analyser en tant qu'éléments révélateurs des valeurs et de la structure sociale de tout groupe étudié. Accounts about individual life events are continuously changing. Researchers can therefore expect to collect somewhat mythical images of the past. Rather than setting them aside under the pretext of objectivity , it is possible to proceed to their analysis as factors which permit to discover the values and social structure of any group being studied.
