A new combination, Oryzopsis holciformis subsp. abyssinica is made. Six new species, Lepturus calcareus, Sporobolus gloeoclados, S. minimus, Stipagrostis dhofariensis, S. xylosa and Tripogon oliganthos, are described from the Arabian Peninsula, two of them (Sporobolus minimus and Stipagrostis xylosa) also from Somalia. Keys to species of Sporobolus, Stipagrostis and Tripogon in Arabia are provided.
