Three new species of Cola, C. cecidiifolia Cheek, C. metallica Cheek and C. suboppositifolia Cheek, all with simple-leaves and short-petioles, are described from western Cameroon and their conservation status is reviewed. A vegetative key to the 24 species of Cola known from Mt Cameroon, where all three species were originally discovered, is presented.
