The genus Urceola Roxb. in Thailand is revised and six species are recognized. The genera Chavannesia A. DC., Ecdysanthera Hook. & Arn., Parabarium Pierre ex Spire, Xylinabaria Pierre and Xylinabariopsis Pitard are reduced to synonymy in Urceola. Three new combinations are made and a key and descriptions of the species are given.
