Abstract

The seven species currently ascribed to the genus Zimmermannia are similar in their macromorphology. In an attempt to confirm their validity as separate species the pollen has been examined. The results show that these species are quite distinct, Zimmermannia decaryi var. occidentalis is published as a new combination.
