Abstract

Publication of some data about Johanna Koerten, the wife of Adriaen Block of Amsterdam, who in the 17th century was famous for her papercuttings. In contradiction to others writer points out that she does not belong to the family of renowned chart-drawers of the name of Koerten. She must have been born in 1652 and belonged to the Baptist Church.
