Abstract

The conceptual model presented in the study attempts to provide a comprehensive framework of privacy regulation. The model identifies regulatory characteristics and relationships by which the variables are linked. The theoretical construct holds that environmental behavioral, and social mechanisms operating within the context of culture are employed to regulate privacy in work environments. The model alerts designers to address a range of privacy issues that may be pertinent to their particular situation.
