Abstract

Osselets et balles sont figurés sur des vases, reliefs ou en figurines de terre cuite, dans des jeux divers dont on a retrouvé les règles. Mais ces objets apparaissent aussi dans le monde funéraire et dans des scènes lies au mariage. Knucklebones and balls are sketched out on vases, reliefs or terracota figurines, in various games whose rules have been recovered. But these objects also appear in the funeral world and in scenes connected with wedding ceremonies.
